Single Recipe Hummus
1 can of chick peas (Garbanzo beans)
1/4 cup of water from the chick peas can
1/4 cup of lemon juice (I use fresh squeezed)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. black pepper
3 Tbl Tahini (you can get this at Meijer in the international foods isle)
1 clove of garlic (or to your liking)
Blend all together in a blender until it is in a purée form
Enjoy with pita bread or carrots and cucumbers for a healthy snack!
Just double everything to make more.
May want to add half of the can of chick peas and other ingredients blend then add the rest for easy blending.
