Any joiners?

If anyone is intersted in going on this journey with me let me know!  It's always easier to do this with a buddy or two...

Woke up around 1015 and had some tea.  I made a shake this time with 3 frozen strawberries, milk and a half of banana.  This time the shake was….DELICIOUS!!!  Finally I was starting to get worried!  Usually I HAVE TO have my Activia yogurt every morning or well I can’t go.  I went to the bathroom after one sip of tea and then again after finishing the cup.  This may be TMI for some of you but for me this is a big deal.  We went to a graduation party today and had some fried chicken, pasta salad, macaroni and cheese and then we split a cookie.  I had a fish sandwich for dinner, so only one shake today.

We woke up around 815 this morning.  I made some tea; I was worried about how it was going to taste.  Well it tasted really good, it really did!  I need to have food and caffeine within 30 minutes of waking up or I’ll have a headache all day and be super crabby.  The tea held the headache off.  SHAKE TIME! I’m nervous…. All we had was an apple, poor planning on our part.  So we put milk, shake powder and a cut up apple in the blender…  Now I should say Garrett has had shakes before and says they are delicious.  The apple one was not!  We do not recommend the use of apples in shakes just made the texture too gritty, still drinkable, he said he’s had better; I’ll go to the store later.  Still no headache and feel full.
We have a wedding later so I went to get my hair done and find a dress and shoes, yes the wedding is tonight!  This procrastination totally explains why we only had an apple in the fridge!
Went to the store on my way home and got strawberries, blueberries, bananas and some Greek yogurt.  I need the Greek yogurt to add a little extra protein to the shake so it will keep me fuller longer.  I spent $12.
Made another shake for lunch this was way better than the morning one but I’m still not crazy about the flavor.  It’s not horrible just not super delicious.  I washed the strawberries and put them in the freezer.
The wedding was nice we didn’t eat dinner until 800 though.  So until this meal I had only had two shakes and a cup of tea.  Anyone that knows me would not come near me if they knew I had not “eaten” all day, but I was surprisingly chipper.  We were hungry but we were not starving and I had no headache.

Garrett’s (my boyfriend) sister was in from Florida this week and stopped by our new place tonight.  She has been taking and selling Herbalife for about 2 years now.  Every time she comes to town she talks to us about it and how we should start taking it.  It’s one or two shakes a day and two vitamins. You still eat regular food just replace one or two meals a day with a shake you make yourself.  We went to a meeting on Saturday with her and heard tons of people talk about their weight loss and getting healthy.

So we finally decided to order some products, just the basics.  A shake mix, multivitamin, cell activator vitamin and a raspberry tea.  This cost around $100 (for a 30 day supply) but as she explained this is part of our grocery shopping because its food.  Seems a bit pricey at first but when you think about it it’s not to much when we eat out around 3 times a week and easily spend over a $100 on groceries a month.  So we are going to give it a try and see what happens.
