So I started a 21 Day Blitz last week! Its a 21 day weight loss challenge for serious participants using Herbalife products, oh and you can win money. I thought it would be a good way to get back in action, to keep me responsible for my choices and to give me something to do. So I ordered Jillian Michaels: Get Ripped in 30 and 6 week six pack. I weighed myself on Wednesday (3rd day) and I had lost 3 lbs already! I also worked out 3days last week, and ate extremely well. I must say I'm quite proud of myself. Can't wait to continue the great work this week!
So I finally bought new jeans on Saturday, just a cheap pair the same brand and style I had before and I bought the size below the pair I had!!! Jean shopping was actually almost fun, definitely not as painful as it used to be. Here's the amazing part the new jeans are already loose I can pull them off without unbuttoning them after I washed them! Good thing I got a cheap pair because I might have to get a new pair soon.
My BFF has also lost 5lbs!!! Congrats to her she started 5 weeks ago and is right on track with healthy weight loss (1-2 pounds a week)
I've always wanted to look good for the Holidays when I see my family and friends and be able to wear some cute outfits and feel good about myself and that is finally going to happen!

So I weighed myself this morning and I'm down 7.6 lbs!!!
So that means I've lost 7.6 of these
I've been working out about twice a week and I've only taken the Thermobond once mainly because I forget. I will take one tonight before my BFF and I go out on our date to dinner.
So I'm pretty proud of myself I can really feel a difference. I can definitely see myself sticking with this, because once I achieve my goal weight I only have to have one shake a day. Honestly I love having my shakes for breakfast and lunch, makes life so much easier!
This Saturday will be 9 weeks on Herbalife and the time has already flown by. I remind myself of a point Garrett made awhile back if you lose a pound a week for a year that's 52 pounds and that really can change your life!
I'm still having two shakes a day, but I only had one on Sunday. I still really love Herbalife! I have energy and focus which is coming in handy for my class that I need to study for. I measured myself this morning and I've lost 2.2 inches off my hips and 1 inch from my waist! I've been having to wear a belt for a few weeks now. I'm stuck at 7 lbs weight loss though. I used to work out 2-4 times a week, which I haven't been doing lately and I'm still losing weight. I'm going to make sure I get in at least 3 workouts this week and I hope that will help me get past this 7 pound hurdle.
I guess I can't expect to wake up and lose a pound a day. I might be being a little too hard on myself, I think I should switch to weekly weigh ins instead of daily ones. I'm also going to order Thermobond which is supposed to help speed the passage of food through the digestive system, allowing your body to absorb less fat (its fiber). Your supposed to take it with food, I will probably take it right before dinner since that is my "fattest" meal. I've included a video below with a Thermobond demo.
Well I'll probably write in a week or so, since I don't want to weigh my self for a week.
That would be a huge branch on my power line, which nearly ripped it out of the house. So needless to say we were out of power. So making shakes was a little hard. I managed to have a shake Sunday morning and two shakes on Monday because I went out of my way to do so. This was the perfect excuse to eat freely but I didn't want to! I wanted my shakes and was quite frustrated my routine was interrupted. I wasn't too upset, no one was hurt and the house wasn't damaged so it could of been a lot worse. We were sooo happy that DTE came out on Monday night and restored power before we had to go back to work on Tuesday morning. We spent some time with family this weekend so all in all it was a pretty ok weekend.
We were back to two shakes a day Tuesday and last night I made some grilled chicken and mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon. It was very good, Garrett told me three times it was which made me happy : )
Despite this weekend I was down 6.8 lbs this morning! I'm feeling great, I feel like Herbalife was partly responsible for keeping my mood level during the power outage.
First off I want to say Congratulations to my BFF for starting Herbalife yesterday! I am so excited for her! She said she instantly felt better.
I've lost 6.6 lbs and today is 5 weeks since I started Herbalife. What is most amazing is I lost the 0.6 lbs these last 2 days while I was on my period! Sorry a bit TMI but who loses weight on their period ladies?!? Ummm probably no one! I usually have really bad cramps and severe bloating, so I added some Tang Kuei from Herbalife which is supposed to help with PMS and relax smooth muscle (ease cramps). I was a bit bloated but no where near what used to happen and I still had cramps but they were not as bad. I really can't believe how much Herbalife helped with this, but I am so happy!
We got the Dutch Chocolate shake yesterday and I had a "banana split" shake for breakfast, it was so good. We are going to the Tiger's game today so we might only have one shake today.
Well I worked out last night when I got home from work, just a quick but effective 20min weight training workout (an on demand video from my cable). This was a genius idea, why do I have to wake up at 645am to workout ? When I get bored waiting for 2hrs for Garrett to get home in the evenings.
I came home had my Herbalife tea, went tanning, worked out, took a shower and was ready by the time he got home. That tea kept me going until we went to Albert's and ate around 800. I wasn't crabby and I had a lot of energy, but I was hungry. I had 3/4 of the bbq bacon cheddar burger and some fries and a long island to drink.
I hope I can work out 2-3 times per week but I feel different about it now. Before I felt like I HAD to work out and if I didn't I would feel really guilty. But now my workouts are fun again because they are accelerating my weight loss not the only thing I'm doing to lose weight. I feel so in control of my life and so happy knowing I'm doing something healthy and something that is actually working. I've been working out for years and trying to eat right and that got me nowhere. I just feel so good knowing I'm changing my life for the better.
I got on the scale this morning and I'm down 6 lbs. I should wait a day or two until its official but it was a great way to start the day! My BFF placed her order last night and will get started when she returns from vacation next Thrusday! We are so excited for her to start!
Today is day 4 of the cleanse and everything is still normal.
I really want to host a weight loss challenge with my family I think I will look into that and get it going.
Had a really great weekend! My bff came over Sat and I made her a shake and some tea, she was pleasantly surprised on how great everything tasted. I also gave her a multivitamin and a cell activator. I talked to her the next day and she said she felt great and will be ordering the quick start this week! : )

I started my cleanse on Sunday. For those of you that know me well know I can't/won't swallow pills and I have crushed and drank some pretty gross stuff before to get medications down. I've been adding the multivitamin and cell activator to my shakes everyday. So I added the 2 am cleanse pills as well. I can barely taste this stuff in my shakes, I swear. I thought I could swallow the pm cleanse pills but I just wouldn't let myself, so I had to crush and drink them in some apple juice. I'm not going to say it was delicious but this was by far the best tasting pill I've crushed and drank! Probably because this stuff is all natural it does not have a weird medicine/chemical taste like other stuff I've done this to. So that was a bit of a relief. So far my poop schedule is normal, aka this cleanse didn't make me sit in the bathroom all day.
Yesterday we FINALLY went to the batting cages which made me so happy!!! and then we rode the go-karts, it was fun. We also went to Albert's (we really love that place) on Friday an Sunday. I had pizza on Sunday and it was sooo good! They have pretty good food there.
Having a great weekend made it extra hard to go to work today, but the day is almost over. Hope you had a nice weekend as well!
Still taking two shakes a day and I'm feeling great. I know it sounds like a commercial but I honestly have never felt better in my life! I have energy and just feel good.
We decided to start the Herbalife 21day cleanse, it arrived today so we will start tomorrow. Its supposed to be gentle and hopefully jump start our weight loss even more. I have definitely already lost inches my pants continue to sag, I'm hoping to go shopping tomorrow for a new pair.
If your body isn't getting what it needs it can't function at it's best, my body is finally getting what it needs and let me tell you that feeling is amazing. I wish everyone would at least try Herbalife and I bet they would be amazed like I am. Now if I can just figure out how to get everyone I care about on it...
Today is day 17 on Herbalife and I had to wash my jeans again because one good tug and I could easily be pantsed. I put on my freshly washed jeans this morning and they were loose!!! No crazy squatting and stretching exercises needed to loosen them up! Amazing!
We had two shakes Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For dinner Friday we went to Applebee's I had the riblet dinner and Garrett had the Cajun shrimp pasta and we both got drinks. Saturday we split an amazing Albert's bbq cheddar bacon burger and I also got a salad and a baked potato and a drink or two. Sunday we had a shake for breakfast and dinner and made pork chops, mashed potatoes, and some veggies for lunch. It was delicious!
We discovered you lose inches before pounds and we haven't done our measurements yet, which we really need to do. I'm down 4.2 pounds! I've honestly never felt better. I'm full of energy. Yesterday was a rainy Sunday those WERE my favorites to lay in bed and sleep all day but I didn't want to do that. I was up doing stuff all day.

Well I'm down 3lbs. as of this morning! Not as much as I was hoping for but its a start. I guess when your losing weight the healthy way this is the way it should be. Now if we can just stay on pace this weekend.
We ordered more shake mix on Sunday night and thought it would arrive yesterday so I could have a shake for dinner, but it didn't! :( aaahhh (we'll never use UPS again, FedEx only now!), so I had a tuna sandwich. No shake for breakfast it was weird I really wanted my shake.
Some people might think having a shake for two meals a day is crazy but for me it's the best thing. My breakfast was always unsatisfying and I was hungry by the time I got to work and it was always a struggle to pack a lunch so I usually ended up with a Lean Cuisine and you get sick of eating those after awhile. So having two shakes is really easy for me not to mention time saving in the morning. I'm really hoping the stuff is there when I get home I don't want to go shake-less today.
By lunch I was crazy get outta my way I gotta eat Hillary again :(
I have not been like this on Herbalife, I REALLY hope my package is on my porch when I get home!
I also feel like I have less energy without it. If I wasn't a complete baby still at 27 and could swallow the vitamins I probably would feel better, but they only way I can get them down is in my shake.
Ahhh thank God the stuff was there when I got home! Had a shake for dinner, feeling much better!!!
I walked to The Whitney for lunch today for my coworkers birthday. Had 1/2 crabcake, very delicious! And half of a half of a chicken salad wrap and a half of a half of a reuben but it was made with beef brisket instead of corned beef :( and some fries. I'm not even going to feel guilty about eating pizza and stuff like this.
We went to Albert's for dinner and some drinks. I had half of a bacon BBQ hamburger and some fries. Then we met up with some friends at another bar. It was a very nice night.
Well I should of gone for a run this morning but I couldn't get up at 645, when it rains I just wanna lay in bed all day! So when I got up at 730 Garrett said "I thought you were waking up at 645". Gggrrrr I tried!
I had a shake for breakfast and drank my tea iced on the way to work. Didn't get hungry till about 1200 so I had a shake for lunch and some hummus and veggies for a snack. I get OBSESSED with this hummus so I posted the recipe (there is a link on the right under recipes). Its super easy to make because I can make it! You can get everything at Meijer. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Still no headache or angry hungry Hillary! Oh and TMI alert I have already pooped twice today (without activia or coffee).
Went to a friends to visit tonight and had some chili for dinner and I brought my tea along. One medium size bowl and a small cookie and I was full. I didn't need to eat anymore its pretty amazing. Usually I would want to have seconds but I had one bowl and was satisfied.
Watching the end of the Detroit Tigers game and going to bed... Valverde how about you don't walk anyone tonight!!!!!
